Break the ICE with God

On your cell phone, you probably have an ICE contact, an in-case-of-emergency contact. If you have an accident or end up in the ER, emergency workers will use this ICE contact your family.  A lot of us treat our relationship with God the same way.  He is our in-case-of-emergency contact.  When we have problems in our life, when we are at our lowest point, then we call out to God.   Then we want to talk to God right away.  But God doesn’t want to be just our in-case-of-emergency. He wants us to give him a call not just when things are hard, but also when things are good.  He wants us to call Him to say thank you.  He wants us to call him to praise him.  He wants us to call him everyday.
